Allies is a Christian rock band. They released six albums during the 1980s and early 1990s.〔http://www.allmusic.com/artist/the-allies-mn0001882547/biography〕 == Band members == The most notable band members were guitarist Randy Thomas, formerly of the Jesus music group Sweet Comfort Band and vocalist Bob Carlisle.〔()〕 Carlisle went on to pursue a solo career and recorded the hit song "Butterfly Kisses", which was co-written with Randy.
